I’ve always been drawn to woodworking—there’s something deeply fulfilling about using your hands to turn raw material into something meaningful. Kona Treasures was born out of that passion: a love for craftsmanship, creativity, and the beauty of the islands I call home.

But more than that, this work is about storytelling.
There’s so much culture, depth, and quiet beauty in Hawai‘i—woven into the land, the animals, and the traditions—that often goes unnoticed. Through each piece I make, I hope to shine a light on that richness.

I take pride in using primarily locally sourced woods—materials that are native to these islands and rich in both character and meaning. From the deep tones of koa to the earthy strength of mango or ʻōhiʻa, the wood itself becomes part of the narrative.
